Ah, Renaissance fairs, home of the free-flowing ale, silly costumes, and abundant cleavage. Packed full of 9-to-5ers on vacation from their real lives and bi girls on vacation from their boyfriends. A jolly time to be had.
On a semi-related note, I'm now working under the tentative assumption that three characters is about the ideal number for my one-page stories. And that is for stories like this one, where the narrative is action-driven: girl meets girl, girl steals girl, etc. (More than that, and the pace just gets breakneck--plus it's hard to fit so many in the panels.) For stories that deal with a more complex relationship between individuals, two people is the maximum. And for stories that have any amount of character development/history--well, one is probably pushing it.
