It gives me so much pleasure to say that my last day at work will be this Monday, April 19. I've been cooking at the same place for about three years now, and although I've been reasonably happy and learned a ton there, it's time to move on. I intend to take a few weeks to catch up with myself and my family, enjoy a long-ago-planned trip to Alaska, and look for another job when I get back.

While I'm not quitting work specifically in order to draw comics more (something out of the question even for many far superior artists), I hope that the break is productive. The book is hovering around 70% completion. If I can work like crazy to fill that meter, I may be looking at a late-fall 2010 release day!
